Your Hospital Bag Packing Guide

If you're reading this, your due date is getting closer and it's time to start thinking about packing for the hospital. First of all - congratulations! You're almost there.

I remember being in your shoes, scrolling through endless packing lists online, feeling overwhelmed by all the conflicting advice. As someone who tends to overthink things (especially with pregnancy brain in full effect), I decided to create the resource I wished I'd had: a practical, thoughtful hospital packing list that actually helps.

When Should You Pack?

Most healthcare providers recommend packing your go bag around 35-36 weeks. This gives you plenty of time before your due date, and if baby decides to make an early appearance, you'll be ready. Plus, having it packed and sitting by the door is one less thing to worry about as you move through those final weeks.

A List That Works for You

Here's the thing: every labor and delivery experience is unique. What one person swears by might not matter to you at all. That's why I've designed this list to be flexible. Cross out what doesn't resonate and add whatever feels important for your family.

The hospital will provide a lot of basics, but sometimes it's nice to have your own items that feel familiar and comforting. I've included some of my personal favorites throughout the checklist like bringing a stroller fan (total lifesaver!) and Frida postpartum recovery products.
