Bagel and Cream Cheese
Who are we?

We’re a Jewish-owned brand started by Chava Cohen, a graphic designer, illustrator, photographer and mom to a little one who’s about to turn two. Our goal is pretty simple: to make fun, meaningful Jewish products that help kids connect with their heritage in a fresh, playful way. And honestly, while doing that, we get to rediscover those small, beautiful moments of Judaism that only a child’s perspective can show you. We’re all about mixing tradition with a little joy, creating designs that celebrate Jewish culture and bring a smile to your face.

Our Family

At the heart of our company is family. I started this brand in 2023, shortly after my daughter was born, during a time when I felt a strong pull to reconnect with my Judaism. I wanted her to grow up with the same warmth, joy, and meaning that shaped my own childhood—and to feel part of something bigger than herself. With much of my family now living on in memory, creating these pieces has become a way for me to stay connected to them, and to keep that love and tradition alive and growing. Inspired by my late father, may his memory be a blessing—who spent his life bringing Jews of all backgrounds together—we carry on his legacy of unity, comfort, and connection. We believe in the beauty of passing down tradition in ways that feel joyful and meaningful, helping every little one feel proud of their Jewish heritage.

Comfort & Eco-Friendliness

We care deeply about comfort and safety, which is why our products are made from ultra-soft, breathable bamboo fabric that’s hypoallergenic, eco-friendly, and gentle on sensitive skin. Our fabric is pre-washed, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, free from flame-retardant chemicals, and designed to fit snugly in accordance with CPSC safety guidelines. Bamboo is also a sustainable choice that reflects Jewish values like Tikkun Olam (repairing the world)—because we believe in caring not just for our little ones, but for the world they’ll grow up in, too.
